Welcome to the Office of Sustainability at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½!
The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ (ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½) Office of Sustainability is dedicated to building a future for ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and the Great Land through environmentally wise, economically sound, and socially responsible actions. The office has made great strides to promote sustainability awareness across ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½'s campus and in the community since its founding in January of 2009. In 2011, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ received an AASHE Bronze Star Award, which is a national benchmark developed by sustainability personnel to assess sustainability progress. In addition, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is the first college in the State of Alaska to be named Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation.
