Gateway 3: Recommendation for Licensure marks the final milestone in your professional preparation as a future teacher. The SOE Student Success Office will monitor your EDEC A492Y/Z and A495Y/Z progress throughout the academic year. Once final grades post (approximately 4-6 weeks after commencement), faculty and staff will verify that you have met the following requirements:

• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Passing Score on the Praxis II Content Area Exam
• Successfully complete Assessments within EDEC A492 and A495
  • Renaissance-Teacher Work Samples with a passing score of 2.0 on all seven assessments
  • Student Teaching Observation Tool (STOT) with a passing score of 3.0 overall
  • Educator Disposition Assessment (EDA) with a passing score of 2.0 overall

The SOE Student Success Office will complete your DEED Program Verification Form in cooperation with the 乐播传媒 Registrar's Office. You will receive the completed form with the 乐播传媒 seal via your 乐播传媒 email address.
