1. Alaska Indigenous Research Program (AKIRP) Summer Internship
馃搷 Anchorage, AK. Full-time and In-person 馃搯 May 26 鈥 July 31, 2026
ANTHC Research Services is offering the 2026 Alaska Indigenous Research Program (AKIRP), a paid 10-week internship for Alaska Native and American Indian students and early-career professionals interested in health research, Tribal health, and public health.
Interns will work on 1鈥3 projects alongside experienced mentors and gain hands-on experience in data collection, community engagement, health promotion, literature reviews, and presenting research findings. The program includes a one-week orientation covering ANTHC, research ethics, and the Alaska Tribal Health System.
This position is fully in-person in Anchorage. Interns are paid hourly, with travel and housing provided for non-Anchorage residents and free access to city bus services.
Eligibility: Must be 18+, Alaska Native and/or American Indian, and interested in a career in health or research. Enrollment in school is not required. Applications open December 2025 at .

2. Business & Process Improvement Intern 鈥 Alaska Beauty Peony Cooperative
馃搷 Homer, AK. (Hybrid: remote winter, in-person summer) 馃搯 Winter start; option to continue through summer
The Alaska Beauty Peony Cooperative is seeking a business or agriculture-related student for a paid hybrid internship supporting inventory system redesign and process improvement. The winter role is remote (5鈥10+ hours/week at $18/hour) and focuses on rebuilding inventory systems in Google Sheets using advanced features to integrate multiple inventories. The position may extend into a summer internship in Homer with housing provided; summer includes 25 hours/week of farm work in exchange for room and board, plus $18/hour for co-op business work such as order fulfillment, inventory tracking, workflow analysis, and event support. The co-op also seeks support with lean process improvements, including time-in-motion studies for harvesting, processing, drying, packaging, and product development. A food worker card is only required if participating in tea and petal dehydration projects.

10. Summer Internship Program 鈥 Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation (APFC)

APFC is offering a paid Summer 2026 internship for Alaska college students interested in finance and investment management. Interns gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to investment operations and industry professionals. Pay is $25/hour (bachelor鈥檚) and $27/hour (master鈥檚). Eligible applicants must be enrolled full-time at an Alaska university or be Alaska residents attending school elsewhere, and pursuing or recently graduated from a bachelor鈥檚 or master鈥檚 program. The internship runs 12鈥13 weeks with flexible scheduling.

CBPP Highlights
ASSET Awards 鈥 Fall 2025
The ASSET Award (Accounting Student Success & Engagement Tech Award) is a new 乐播传媒 Accounting Department initiative recognizing Anchorage-campus Accounting and Bookkeeping majors for academic performance and engagement. Each semester, students earn points through coursework and departmental involvement, and five recipients are randomly selected to receive university-supported Windows laptops funded by the Lenore and George Hedla Fund through the Accounting Department Computers for Students Program. In December, five CBPP Accounting students received laptops through this initiative. Launched this fall, the program celebrates student commitment, supports success, and strengthens the Accounting learning community through a transparent, semester-end award process. THE SUITE at CBPP
Students enjoyed a fun Finals Week Sweets in the Suite at The Suite at CBPP, and we鈥檙e happy to continue providing this welcoming space to support you during the semester.
