  • 1. Staff Auditor with The Division of Legislative Audit

    馃搷 Anchorage, AK. / Juneau, AK. Full-Time  馃搯 Available Immediately

    The Division of Legislative Audit is hiring for a Staff Auditor in Anchorage, Alaska and Juneau, Alaska. This role supports the mission of strengthening transparency, accountability, and efficiency in Alaska鈥檚 state government. Staff Auditors conduct audit procedures tailored to each engagement, such as financial reconciliations or operational reviews, while preparing detailed workpapers, drafting findings, and collaborating with team members under the direction of a Senior or In-Charge Auditor. Business students interested in accounting, auditing, or public service are encouraged to apply.

  • 2. Intern Auditor with the Division of Legislative Audit

    馃搷 Juneau, AK. Full-time, Flexible.  馃搯 Mid-May to Early August 2026

    The Division of Legislative Audit serves as one of the Legislature鈥檚 most significant checks on the executive and judicial branches of government, working to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with state and federal laws. Intern Auditors assist audit teams by preparing electronic workpapers, performing audit tests, and documenting results under the supervision of licensed CPAs. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in public service, government operations, and performance auditing, making it an excellent opportunity for students pursuing accounting, auditing, or CPA certification.

  • 3. Marketing Liaison with the Alaska Dental Society

    馃搷 Anchorage, AK. Part-time.  馃搯 Available Immediately

    The Alaska Dental Society is a nonprofit, membership-based organization that provides services to the dental community and profession across Alaska. The Marketing Liaison will assist the Executive Director with oversight of the organization鈥檚 website, social media, and marketing development, along with monthly tasks and planning. This position offers students the chance to gain hands-on experience in marketing and association management while developing skills in communication, outreach, and organizational support.

  • 5. Associate with Employee Benefits Account Representative Program

    The Employee Benefits Account Representative Program is providing in-depth training to prepare associates for client-facing and customer-oriented roles. Throughout the training program, associates join a mentorship business program, led by industry experts, to further develop skills while increasing role-specific levels of responsibility. You鈥檒l be able to meet senior executives and network with team members across business lines through U Network, a peer-to-peering learning platform, and U Mentor, our official one-to-one mentorship program.

CBPP Spotlight

Maria Mena

Maria Mena recently joined the 乐播传媒 School of Business and Public Policy, where she teaches courses in communications and business foundations. She brings decades of global corporate leadership experience, combining strategic insight with a student-centered, hands-on approach to learning.

Her career spans executive and strategic roles in retail, finance, and global supply chain, where she led transformation efforts and championed early adoption of business analytics to guide pricing, promotions, and operations. In higher education, she has taught across the U.S. and Canada, developed interdisciplinary programs, and advanced student success initiatives.

Originally from Canada, Maria is embracing life in Anchorage. A passionate traveler and outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys hiking, paddling, cycling, and swimming鈥攁nd is currently training for her first Ironman 70.3 in February.
